River Trail

After years of neglect, the river trail across the street is cleared and ready for use. It’s only a five minute walk to the water from the main camp and you’ll likely see some wildlife if you get up early. My favorite time to walk the trail is just after the sun rises. I often share the trail with deer and quail at that time. The river is a whole different place in the first couple of hours of light and it is nearly always free of other people.
